The Adair County Board of Supervisors approved a claims register totaling $267,307.23 at its March 31 meeting, covering routine expenses and several large road and bridge payments.
The claims list included a $126,761.05 payment to Gus Construction Co. for a W9 Lincoln RCB culvert, $58,048.97 to Govco Inc. for N11 Lincoln Bridge work, and $34,565.70 to HGM Associates for N23 Richland Bridge. The board approved the register as presented during the meeting.
County accounting totals by fund were reported to the board, including entries for the General Fund, Secondary Road Fund, Local Option Sales Tax and the NW Wind Farm UR capital project fund (the transcript listed a balance of $218,875.72 for that capital project fund). Board members said motions were approved as presented; the motion to approve the claims was moved by Supervisor Doug Wedemeyer and seconded by Paul Baier and was approved without objection.
Other procedural items approved at the same time included a $40 township clerk wage payment for Becky Luers and acknowledgements of the SICOG annual report and manure-management-plan updates. No additional discussion or amendments to the claims list were recorded.
