At the Oct. 16 board meeting Anne Fritz, executive director of the Oak Lawn Chamber, thanked Community High School District 218 and Richards High School staff for hosting the Oak Lawn Chamber’s fourth annual Fall Family Fest on Sept. 27.
Fritz said the event included about 30 business sponsors, student volunteers, face painters, balloon artists and inflatables, and "well over 350 community members," and she specifically thanked Richards staff members Mike Jacobson and Deb Swanson for their support. A second commenter, a pastor and Chamber board member, also thanked the district and commended Deb Swanson and her team for event management.
Chair acknowledged the comments and thanked the Chamber for its community partnership. The public comment was noted; no formal board action was required.
