On legal services, the borough named William J. Kaufman as special conflict solicitor for the Wildwood Crest planning board (not to exceed $10,000) and authorized a separate contract with Jeffrey Ceranian of Ceranian, Edwards, Buzak & Nolan LLC as special counsel for COA-related matters through Dec. 31, 2025 (not to exceed $10,000). The council also approved a $5,000 increase to counsel Michael Jensiniak's contract for COA-related work.
Other passed measures included a budget amendment to recognize additional funding from the Greater Wildwood Tourism Improvement Development Authority for the 2025 Create in the Crest Arts Festival; authorization to purchase a 2025 Ford F-250 pickup truck for the public works department under state contract for $72,404; procurement of grant-preparation services from Colliers Engineering and Design (not to exceed $7,000) for Safe Streets work; and a set of routine refunds and license approvals carried by roll call.
Council adopted a civility policy governing public interactions with borough employees and approved an advertisement to bid on the FY2025 NJ Water Bank sanitary sewer project S340719-05. The meeting record shows these items passed by recorded roll-call votes.
