The Cinnaminson Township School District board on Tuesday approved a range of routine and operational items, moving the district through required administrative steps ahead of the upcoming budget cycle.
After taking roll and opening formal motions, the board approved Section 4 (routine business) and Section 5 (routine matters, including enrollment and health reports) by voice votes. The superintendent summarized personnel items (resignations, leaves, overloads and substitute approvals) and the board approved the certified and noncertified personnel slate.
Dr. Goldberg presented Curriculum and Instruction items, including professional development requests, field trips, the monthly suspension and HIV reports, and a calendar amendment that replaced a snow day with a single‑session day on April 3. The board approved Section 12 items on a voice vote.
In special education, the board approved a verified tuition placement with Brookfield Academy for one student, two consultant agreements (First Children's Services, Learning Services LLC for 1‑to‑1 support; Gabrielle Ciano for a functional behavioral assessment) and a request to establish an emotional regulation impairment special‑class program in accordance with state special‑education codes.
The policy committee reported a policy and regulation audit; several policies moved from first to second reading and three policies were adopted on second reading as listed on the agenda. The finance committee reviewed the 2026–27 budget timeline and noted that state aid release was delayed this year, pushing the district's preliminary budget submission deadline to March 27.
Mrs. Wilkie, the business administrator, also reported donations and contract awards listed on the agenda. The board approved business and finance items, including mileage reimbursements, a semi‑corrected action plan and the closure of a scholarship fund.
Board members said they would reconvene next week for preliminary budget approval (scheduled March 24) and noted the next regular meeting is planned for April 14. The board then recessed for an executive session and returned to approve a single business item before adjourning.
