Board approves special-education staffing contract, reviews large technology disposal list

In a related facilities and operations update, the district presented a comprehensive equipment-disposal list that includes furniture and athletic equipment at school sites and large technology decommissioning across departments: 2,210 iPads marked end of life, 750 Chromebooks end of life, hundreds of laptops and desktop minis, 350 Ruckus access points and numerous peripheral devices. Administration indicated the board will review the disposal requests and vote on them at the March 5, 2026 meeting.
Board members did not take final action on disposal items during this meeting; the contract approval for special-education staffing was the formal action recorded.
