Board confirms multiple administrative reclassifications and a certificated reassignment after closed session

At the start of the meeting the board’s closed‑session report detailed multiple personnel actions that had been approved unanimously.

Mister Gonzales reported the board approved the certificated management reclassification of Rhonda McDonald to elementary school principal at Eastvale Elementary, effective July 1; the reclassification of Jennifer Montgomery to principal of Eleanor Roosevelt High School, effective July 1; the reclassification of Kelly Jakubic to administrative director in instructional support, effective July 1; the temporary certificated management reclassification of Stuart Payne to principal on assignment with adult education, effective July 1; and the contracted management reclassification of Jeremy Goins to assistant superintendent in Educational Services, effective July 1. Each of those motions was reported as having passed by unanimous vote.

Gonzales also reported the board, again by unanimous roll call, moved to issue a notice pursuant to Education Code section 44951 that certificated administrative employee identified by number 26407 shall be released from the administrative position of assistant principal at the end of the 2023–24 school year and reassigned to a certificated assignment beginning the 2024–25 school year.

No additional details about salaries, specific site assignments beyond the titles above, or the circumstances of the Education Code notice were provided at the meeting. President Rehaga thanked those appointed and welcomed them to their new assignments.
