County manager: LMIG/LRA projects will be re-bid; Plantation Blvd survey complete

County Manager Jason Weeks told the Georgetown‑Quitman County Commission on Nov. 10, 2025 that no bids were received for the county’s LMIG and LRA projects and that the county will put the work out to bid again. Weeks also reported that surveying on Plantation Blvd is complete and that the county attorney has contacted CatchMark Timber, the adjacent property owner, about granting right‑of‑way needed to complete the project.
Weeks said work on the Board of Election office is "almost complete" and encouraged commissioners to walk through the finished space. The minutes do not include estimates of cost or a schedule for re-bidding or for final completion of the election office.
