Fulton County approves Juvenile Probation Services grant agreement and budget for state fiscal 2025–2026

The Fulton County Board of Commissioners approved a state grant agreement and the proposed budget for juvenile probation services during its March 31 meeting.

Chief Probation Officer Dan Miller presented Juvenile Grant‑in‑Aid documents and the board moved to approve and execute the Juvenile Probation Services Program Grant Agreement, Contract Number 4100101052, between the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania acting through the Juvenile Court Judges' Commission and Fulton County. Commissioner Wible moved for approval; the motion passed unanimously among those present.

Commissioner Hervey P. Hann subsequently moved to approve Exhibit B, the county's proposed budget for County Juvenile Probation Services for state fiscal year 2025–2026 (grant period 07/01/2025 through 06/30/2026). That motion also carried. The minutes record that both approvals were unanimous among the commissioners present; Commissioner Randy H. Bunch was absent.

The actions authorize county execution of the state agreement and the accompanying budget; the Probation Office will administer the grant and any reporting obligations to the Juvenile Court Judges' Commission and the Commonwealth. The minutes do not include line‑item budget figures in Exhibit B, only the approval of the proposed budget and the grant period and contract number.
