District leaders report progress on vision cards for communications, equity and operations

Deputy and cabinet presenters described how the vision cards link to operational plans at school and department levels. The district emphasized alignment among strategies, measures and expected impact and said it will use a continuous-improvement "magnifier" to test constructs and scale progress measurement.
Board members asked for clarity on which specific items would be monitored at the site level and requested follow-up materials showing how the vision-card metrics map to school-level operational plans. Staff said the IMEI report contains more granular data and that they will return with additional detail as requested.
Presenters framed the vision-card work as part of a broader effort to ensure the district's strategic priorities are implemented consistently across schools and to provide the board with data to judge both fidelity and impact.
