The McPherson County Board of Commissioners handled routine administrative and financial business during its April 8 meeting, approving minutes, payroll and vendor claims, small facility repairs and a tax-list correction.
Commissioners voted to approve the minutes from the prior meeting and to pay the presented General and Road Fund claims, which included General Fund payroll listed as $28,238.06 and Road Fund payroll listed as $11,147.20. The board approved a $3,200 bid from Mowrey Renovations for a 12-by-12 evidence room on courthouse grounds (materials and construction, including shelves and a door) as presented by the Sheriff, and approved a $270 proposal from Pye-Barker Fire and Safety to replace a fire extinguisher in the Maintenance Shop. The board also approved a Tax List Correction of $64.59 on parcel #600044081 related to a 2022 Homestead Exemption audit.
