At 11:00 a.m. March 31 the Pocahontas County Board of Supervisors convened a public hearing on the proposed FY27 tax levy in the Supervisors Room at the courthouse. Chairman Louis Stauter and all four supervisors were present along with Auditor Nita Hinrickson and Assessor Kalista Wagner.
Hinrickson provided proof of publication from the newspapers. No members of the public attended or offered comment. At 11:01 a.m., Supervisor Brent Aden moved and Supervisor Peter Seehusen seconded a motion to adjourn the public hearing; the motion carried and the hearing was closed with no questions or comments recorded.
