An attendee asked whether the developer was present; Harrington identified the developers in attendance and confirmed Mr. Green is associated with the 52 White Street purchase. A motion to approve the sale was made and seconded; registrars ran paper ballots and the clerk reported 24 votes cast and announced the measure approved by unanimous tally (transcript reports "24 yay, 0 yay"; corrected to 24–0 in favor for clarity). The motion authorizes the town manager to finalize and execute all documents necessary to complete the sale in compliance with applicable laws.
Harrington said the town will take necessary easements out of the parcel for drainage and future access and that the modular house will be delivered in sections and set on the prepared site, immediately adding a taxable structure to the grand list. The town indicated final easement language and site details will be resolved during closing and permitting.
