On the card registration form, the director recommended removing a clause dating from about 2008 that forbade children from checking out DVDs. Board members asked whether staff screen ratings; the director said the library relies on parental supervision and treats DVDs the same as books. The board moved to remove the language and approved that change.
Both motions were approved by voice vote during the meeting.
