Brookside student Michael Gao told the council that a new water fountain purchased by the school remains uninstalled inside a snack stand and asked the borough to install it because town employees are required to do that work. DPW superintendent Andy Gugliaro said workers removed the old unit, had a contractor evaluate installation that day and would have another contractor review proposals the following day; he promised the fountain would be installed soon.
Council thanked residents for the input and noted follow‑up would be coordinated with DPW.
