Sheriff asks county council to approve overtime and vehicle-replacement funding; commissioners forward requests

Commissioners voted unanimously, 3-0, to forward all three requests to the county council for review and possible approval. Sheriff Smith said any costs beyond the insurance reimbursements would be paid from commissary or asset forfeiture funds.
The commissioners did not approve spending at the July 7 meeting; their action was to forward the requested appropriations to the county council.
