Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction Dr. Michelle Erb outlined the plan's educational impacts, saying the recommended scenario would help consolidate early‑learning, special education and intervention services to improve access and program alignment across buildings. She said the plan is intended to balance class sizes and extend ESL services to all buildings in the district.
The board scheduled three public hearings to collect feedback from parents, staff and community members; the minutes state that a final board decision is expected at the regular board meeting on Dec. 15, 2025. The administration described the immediate next steps as community engagement and soliciting staff and parent input before the board's final action.
No formal action on consolidation was recorded at the Nov. 17 meeting; the administration presented the recommendation and set the public‑input process and timeline leading to the Dec. 15 decision.
