The Roswell mayor and city council voted unanimously on Jan. 27 to close part of their special-call meeting to discuss personnel matters, litigation and real estate and then adjourned.
City Attorney David Davidson read the single agenda item, telling the council: "The only item I have is a recommendation for closure to discuss personnel litigation and or real estate." Mayor Mary Robuchow then asked for a motion to close.
Mayor Pro Tem Sarah Beeson moved to close the meeting for the item read by the city attorney; Council member Aaron Brumley seconded the motion. Mayor Mary Robuchow called for those in favor to raise their hands; she stated the vote was "unanimous," and announced that the item had passed.
Mayor Robuchow introduced the members present at the opening of the meeting: Council member Sarah Beeson (identified as mayor pro tem), Council member Christine Hall, Council member Christopher Zach, Council member Alan Sells, Council member Jennifer Fillipi and Council member Aaron Brumley. City Attorney David Davidson read the city attorney's report item before the motion. The meeting record indicates no further public actions were taken before the council adjourned.
Note on transcript labels: the meeting transcript records most lines under a single speaker label; where individuals were named (for example, in roll call and when the mover and seconder were announced) those names are used here as reported rather than inferred from separate speaker markings.
The special-call meeting concluded with Mayor Robuchow adjourning the session. No additional public votes or actions were recorded on the meeting agenda.
