Trustees did not take action on the policy during the Jan. 7 meeting; the request was announced as a follow-up item so staff and counsel can report back with details of the existing ordinance and any enforcement or licensing issues to consider.
The board also discussed, but did not act on, the destination of a 0.03 motor fuel tax item that had been on a prior agenda; Mayor Perkins pulled that item for additional review.
Next steps: Attorney Jurusik will consult with the police chief and return the Airbnb policy item to the board with a recommendation or background information.
