Todd County approves agenda, hires, liquor licenses and $3.65 million in warrants

The Todd County Board of Commissioners on March 17 adopted the agenda and approved multiple consent items and warrant batches.
On a procedural motion by Commissioner Becker, seconded by Commissioner Noska, the board adopted the agenda as presented. By unanimous consent the board approved the March 3, 2026 meeting minutes; hired Ross Bollin for a part-time correctional officer position (hourly pay $27.87, Grade 6/F step C) with start date to be determined; and promoted Dominik Estrella Becerra to Administrative Assistant II/Bilingual (Grade D/4, Step A, $22.60/hour). The consent agenda also included approvals of an Off Sale and On Sale 3.2 Malt Liquor License, an On Sale Wine License, and a Setup License for BDKMN Inc dba Head of the Lakes Resort, effective April 1, 2026 through March 31, 2027.
The board approved Auditor warrants (ACH, Manual and Regular batches) totaling $3,651,167.29, Commissioner warrants totaling $50,229.68, and Health & Human Services warrants totaling $89,823.61. The meeting record contains a detailed vendor listing for those warrant batches.
The minutes of the March 17 meeting were later approved at the April 7, 2026 regular board meeting. The minutes bear the signatures of Bob Byers, County Board Chairperson, and Denise Gaida, Todd County Auditor-Treasurer.
