Tecumseh City Council approves NDOT PS&E for CN13214 and OKs consent agenda

The Tecumseh City Council on May 19, 2025 adopted Resolution 2025-5 approving the Preliminary Plans, Specifications and Estimates (PS&E) for NDOT CN13214 (DTR Project Plans) after a motion by Councilmember Alicia Brommer and a second from Councilmember Lorie Topp. The motion carried with recorded ayes from Councilmembers Lance Beethe, Brian Britt, Alicia Brommer, Travis Goracke and Tyler Speckmann; Topp also voted aye.
The approval moves the NDOT CN13214 PS&E forward in the project process. Council considered the resolution as part of new business during its 5:00 p.m. regular session held in the Utilities Conference Room at the Utility Shop. The meeting record indicates the Mayor confirmed availability of the Open Meeting Act before proceeding.
The council also approved the consent agenda, which included acceptance of the minutes from the May 5, 2025 meeting and payment of city funds and bills. Councilmember Lorie Topp moved to approve the consent agenda; Councilmember Travis Goracke seconded. Voting recorded in the minutes shows Beethe, Britt, Goracke, Speckmann and Topp voting aye; Councilmember Alicia Brommer was noted as not present for that vote. There were no recorded nays on either the resolution or the consent agenda.
The meeting was called to order by the Mayor and the City Clerk recorded the proceedings. The session adjourned at 5:03 p.m.; the minutes bear the signatures of City Clerk Janelle Moran and Mayor Jesse Grof.
