The Laramie County Board of Commissioners on June 3 approved a subdivision permit and plat that will divide a 35.01‑acre parcel at 2619 Road 124 into five residential lots averaging roughly 7 acres each.
Mark Christiansen, agent for the applicant with AVI PC, said the plan keeps the existing home and associated facilities (septic and well) on Lot 1 and subdivides the remainder into four additional parcels. "The intent is for the existing landowner to utilize his existing home and then subdivide off the lot into 4 different parcels," Christiansen said.
Planning staff said the property lies within an agricultural and rangeland designation, that traffic and drainage impacts were considered minimal with waivers approved by the county engineer, and that the subdivision complies with the Laramie County Land Use Regulations. The Planning Commission previously held a public hearing and recommended approval.
Motion and vote: The board moved to approve the subdivision permit and plat with no conditions and adopted staff findings; the motion passed on roll call.
