Commissioners ratify $848,481 agreement for Clear Creek Phase 3 parking and improvements

Laramie County commissioners ratified an agreement Dec. 16 with Ryman Corporation for Clear Creek Phase 3 improvements and parking facilities in the amount of $848,481.
A planning representative described the work as paving existing parking lots and adding a new east-side lot near the bathrooms and picnic shelter to improve access. Staff said this is likely the final major project drawn from the prior infrastructure package; about $960,000 remained in infrastructure funds before this item and this contract will use the majority of those funds. Additional construction management and potential small change orders for electronic locks and police access improvements were noted as possible near-term actions.
Mark Boss of the Wyoming County Attorney's Office said he reviewed and found the agreement acceptable. The commission approved the ratification by unanimous roll call.
Implementation, change orders and any remaining small upgrades will be handled through construction management and potential future approvals.
