County renews Paladin Technologies service agreement for security systems

Commissioners approved a $60,080 addendum to a service-level agreement with Paladin Technologies to cover access-control and camera support for county buildings, adding several locations and increasing the contract roughly $2,800 from last year.
The Laramie County Board of Commissioners unanimously approved Dec. 16 an addendum to the county's service-level agreement with Paladin Technologies Incorporated for on-going support of building access-control and video surveillance systems.
Ross Moore, Assistant Director for Laramie County IT, said the renewal adds several locations — including the senior center and an AMV lot at Clear Creek Park — and increases the cost by about $2,800 compared with last year. The addendum authorizes $60,080 for support services under the SLA.
A commissioner asked how many facilities are included; Moore estimated "about 10" locations. After brief discussion the commission approved the addendum by unanimous roll call.
The addendum funds continued maintenance and monitoring of access-control and camera systems; any future expansions or system upgrades would be handled through separate requests.
