Laramie County approves Life Subdivision, clearing four residential lots near I‑25

The Laramie County Board of Commissioners on Jan. 20 approved a subdivision permit and plat for the Life Subdivision at 1760 I‑25 Service Road.
Justin Arnold of Laramie County Planning and Development presented the application, saying the 57.53‑acre property would be subdivided into four residential lots averaging about 11.51 acres. Staff reported that waiver requests for traffic and drainage studies had been submitted; the county engineer concurred with the drainage waiver and requested a transportation worksheet, which the applicant provided.
Agent Shane Hansen clarified ownership for the record and answered commissioners’ questions about access. Public Works asked that a plat note clarifying how the access easement will be used be updated; Hansen said that change had already been made in the materials.
Planning staff recommended approval subject to conditions, including that all agency comments be addressed and corrected prior to recordation. No members of the public spoke during the hearing. The board adopted the staff findings and approved the subdivision permit and plat with the stated condition on a unanimous roll call.
Next steps: agency comments must be resolved and the corrected plat recorded before development may proceed.
