Laramie County approves $254,775 contract for electronic poll books

The Laramie County Board of Commissioners voted to approve a master software license and service agreement with No Inc, LLC in the amount of $254,775 to supply and support an electronic poll‑book system over three years.
Mikayla Ports, Laramie County Elections Manager, said the county published an RFP, received two bids, and selected No Inc based partly on its federal certification from the U.S. Election Assistance Commission for electronic poll books. “These are not voting machines or in any way related to the ballots,” Ports said. “These are related to who’s allowed to vote and how many times they voted.”
Commissioners asked about contract duration and Ports confirmed the agreement is for three years. The motion to approve passed by roll call with all commissioners voting aye.
