County approves grants and routine contracts, appoints planning commissioner and retains contract counsel

The Laramie County Board of Commissioners on Oct. 21 approved a series of routine but substantive items including grant applications, professional services contracts, fleet purchases and a board appointment.
The board authorized submission of a $165,407 grant application to the National Rifle Association to upgrade 14 indoor shooting stalls and to purchase a gun safe at the Shooting Sports Complex. Sandra Bay presented the request and noted the grant was prepared by county grants staff.
