Quorum Court authorizes agreement with White River Planning and greenlights ADA grant application

The Cleburne County Quorum Court on Sept. 11, 2025 adopted two resolutions during its regular session. JP Foust introduced a resolution authorizing the County Judge to enter into an administrative agreement with the White River Planning and Development District, Inc.; the court approved that measure by roll-call vote and recorded the action as Resolution 2025-07.
JP Foust also introduced a resolution authorizing the submittal of an application for ACEDP/CDBG grant funds to the State of Arkansas for Americans with Disabilities Act improvements to the courthouse. The court approved that resolution by roll-call vote; it was adopted as Resolution 2025-08. In both roll-call votes the ayes were JPs Baugh, Beavers, Evans, Fletcher, Foust, Henegar, Martin, McClung, Moorehead and Tamburo; JP Malone was absent.
Court minutes do not show additional debate on either resolution. The actions authorize the county judge to proceed with the administrative agreement and with grant application steps; the resolutions will be filed in county records and any subsequent contractual documents or grant materials will be pursued by the county judge's office and supporting staff.
The court scheduled its next regular meeting for Oct. 9, 2025.
