A roll-call vote recorded Ayes from JPs Baugh, Beavers, Evans, Fletcher, Foust, Henegar, Malone, Martin, McClung, Moorehead and Tamburo; there were no Nays. The court declared the motion passed and the measure was adopted as Ordinance 2026-03.
The Budget Committee had reported earlier in the meeting that county finances were "in good standing" and that an ordinance would follow; the adopted ordinance implements those committee adjustments for the sheriff, jail and ARPA audit budget lines. The ordinance text was read into the record as an appropriations amendment to the 2025 and 2026 budget ordinances.
