For continued case BSCP2403-0021 (1016 Compton Avenue), Cuellar recounted repeated missed deadlines, seven prior hearings and ongoing structural and sanitary failures. Staff requested inspections through April 24, 2026, and authorization to enter and demolish the structure on or after April 25 if repairs or debris removal are not completed, and to place civil penalties up to $1,000 per day. Commissioners questioned whether the city had identified owners and lienholders and how a currently present tenant would be handled; staff said foreclosure appears to have concluded and the city would evaluate the tenant situation before enforcement. The commission voted to accept staff’s recommendation.
