Trustees approved resolutions in appreciation of Police Sergeant Samuel Lopez and Police Officer Gregory Dubinski, recognizing their retirements. The motions to approve the resolutions were made by Trustee Joseph Abbate and carried on roll‑call votes (Ayes 5, Nays 0, Absent 1).
Mayor Paula McCombie administered the oaths of office for Officer Edward Mohn, Officer Aleksandra Sakowska and Sergeant Kevin Doyle.
The board also approved a resolution to appoint Daniel Walenda from Temporary Records Clerk to Full‑Time Operations Associate for the police department. Chief of Police Thomas Roman provided a brief update on officer interviews and candidates, and the minutes note that a job posting for entry‑level candidates is open.
These personnel items were recorded as routine board business; the meeting included no executive session and the votes on personnel matters were unanimous among trustees present.
