Bernards Township committee adopts three ordinances on easements; consent agenda approved

The ordinance was moved for adoption by Anna Duarte McCarthy, seconded, and carried by roll call with unanimous 'Yes' votes; the motion was recorded as "Motion carried."
Ordinance 2584 accepts a riparian-zone conservation easement on property at 5 Veil Terrace (Block 2501, Lot 32) from Lisa Matute to the township. The committee opened and closed the public hearing, moved and seconded adoption, and recorded unanimous 'Yes' votes.
Ordinance 2585 accepts a first amended conservation easement on property located at 4 Colts Glen Lane (Block 4301, Lot 12). The committee again opened and closed the public hearing, moved and seconded adoption, and recorded unanimous 'Yes' votes.
The committee also adopted the consent agenda by a single motion with no separate discussion and approved the open-session minutes for July 29, 2025. The committee confirmed the next meeting is scheduled for September 9.
