Student representative Marina Petrucilla told the board on March 31 that the Cinderella Project dress sale sold close to 100 gently used dresses to raise money for students who could not otherwise afford prom attire.
Marina also reported that the theater arts program’s production of Les Misérables drew more than 1,800 attendees across performances and congratulated cast and crew. The student representative noted a number of athletic accomplishments across sports — including the girls basketball, ice hockey, winter track and unified bowling teams — and highlighted individual achievements such as senior Kerry Clinton advancing to the Meet of Champions.
The board and administration acknowledged the student reports and congratulated students and staff. The district also noted that Ryan Johnson was recognized countywide as an Unsung Hero for volunteer work as an EMT.
