The speaker said, "I would like to congratulate Center High School McClellan and Ryals Bridal School on their promotion and graduations, and congratulations to all the students." The speaker singled out staff, saying, "A special shout out to Mister Holmesley and Miss Slay for a great job they did on their first promotion at Center High School and also Mister Holmesley's very first Mister Holmesley's very first graduation."
The speaker also noted attendance at elementary back-to-school nights, saying they attended all except one (Fortunes) and hoped to attend that school's event next year. Praising a school production, the speaker said North Country's rendition of Alice in Wonderland, "presented by Miss Gray or also known as Missus Rittenhouse," was "truly entertaining." The Committee member described attending McClellan's senior dinner and lauded the graduation and the rose ceremony as "very touching and moving."
The speaker closed remarks by wishing everyone a great summer and stating they would reconvene in August.
