The Minooka Community High School District 111 board convened a special meeting at 7:00 p.m. Sept. 24, 2025, at the Minooka Community High School administration building. President Laura Hrechko called the meeting to order and a quorum of seven board members was recorded.
Board member Jim Grzetich moved, and Mike Hoyt seconded, a motion to adjourn to executive session "for the purpose of discussing matters related to the appointment, compensation, discipline, dismissal, employment and performance of specific employees of the district; security procedures, school building safety and security; and the use of personnel and equipment to respond to an actual, a threatened, or a reasonably potential danger to the safety of employees, students, staff, the public or public property." Hearing no objections, the motion was approved and the meeting recessed to executive session at 7:01 p.m.
The board recorded that there were no public comments during the public comment period. After the executive session, Bert Kooi moved and Terry Spivey seconded a motion to return to open session; the motion was approved and open session resumed at 8:19 p.m. The board then moved to adjourn on a motion by Kooi, seconded by Spivey; the motion was approved and the meeting adjourned at 8:20 p.m.
