The Enumclaw City Council voted March 9 to approve Resolution 1869, accepting the final plat for Boise Creek Cove, an 18‑lot subdivision east of Farmland Street and north and south of Battersea Avenue.
Director of Planning Chris Besany told the council the property is a single parcel of just under 10 acres in the city's moderate‑density single‑family residential (R‑2) zone and that public hearing and examiner review had already occurred. "Staff recommends that the city council find that all the improvements and other requirements for final plat approval for the Boise Creek Cove subdivision have been met," Besany said, including installation and acceptance of streets, frontage improvements, sidewalks, utilities, stormwater detention, and posting of bonds.
The preliminary plat for the project had previously been approved by the council (Ordinance 27‑57 on July 25, 2023) and the hearing examiner issued a recommendation for approval on June 26, 2023, subject to specific conditions that staff reported as satisfied in the final analysis.
Council moved and passed Resolution 1869 by voice vote; no council objections were recorded in the transcript.
What happens next: final plat approval allows the developer to proceed with lot sales and building permits in accordance with the conditions and certifications required by the municipal code. The council did not discuss city financial participation or infrastructure funding at the March 9 meeting.
