Redding zoning board continues two appeals and approves multiple written decisions

The City of Redding zoning board on Wednesday granted continuances for two pending appeals and approved a series of written decisions from previous hearings.
Board members moved and seconded a continuity for applications concerning 313 Elm Street and 2040 Center Avenue; the motion was approved with the chair announcing, "Ayes have it." The board then took up a sequence of decisions from last month and approved each: appeal 2025-0017 (408 North 9th Street), appeal 2506-0018 (1200 North 12th Street), appeal 2606-0019 (415–433 Pearl Street), appeal 2506-0020 (114 Robinson Street) and appeal 2506-0021 (928 Perry Street). Each decision was moved, seconded and the chair announced approval.
The board said it will issue formal written decisions on the in‑progress evidentiary hearings at next month’s meeting and mail copies to the applicants; applicants need not be present to receive the mailed decision.
