"Park board asked staff to receive some proposals for doing some epoxy floor coatings within several park buildings," said Jesse, presenting the Park Board recommendation and a packet containing five proposals including one from Erlinson Epoxy Floor Coatings. Jesse said using the repair maintenance fund would have taken a significant portion of the parks' annual budget, so the Park Board requested drawing from long-term maintenance funds to cover the work.
Committee members had no further questions; a motion to approve the request was moved and seconded, the chair called the vote and the motion carried. The committee recorded the approval in the meeting audio without a detailed roll-call tally.
Staff will proceed with contracting according to the Park Board’s priorities and the proposals in the packet. The committee adjourned after approving this item.
