At its meeting, the Borough Commission introduced three traffic- and parking-related ordinances and set a public hearing date.
Clerk read the titles of Ordinance 14-45 (amending schedule for restricted parking zones for persons with disabilities), Ordinance 14-46 (designating loading zones and amending schedules in Chapter 79), and Ordinance 14-47 (amending Chapter 79 time-limit parking spaces). Each ordinance was moved and seconded for first reading, passed on first reading, and ordered advertised according to law. All three were scheduled for second and final reading and public hearing on February 5, 2025 at 9:30 a.m.
The clerk recorded unanimous roll-call votes to pass each measure on first reading. The ordinances were presented as code amendments to the borough’s vehicles and traffic chapter; full text will be available when advertised for public review prior to the Feb. 5 hearing.
