The clerk read roll-call votes for each resolution; Mister Schiff, Mister Franco and Mister Cabrera recorded unanimous 'Yes' votes on the recorded items.
Among approved contracts and appointments were designation of official newspapers and account signatories; appointments including Jason Hoesley to represent the borough in tax appeals, Matthew Bruni as municipal prosecutor and Seth Fosselaro as municipal public defender; and multiple professional-services agreements with specified not-to-exceed sums. Notable contract approvals included an EUS contract with Contemporary Technology Inc. for network support and information-technology services at a not-to-exceed total of $91,000 ($59,000 municipal IT; $32,000 public-safety IT) and a website hosting/management award to Square 1 Design at a not-to-exceed $6,750.
Council approved additional professional services contracts for municipal engineering, auditing, planning, environmental consulting and specialized legal counsel, generally on one-year engagements and in many cases with specified not-to-exceed amounts.
The body adopted a broad consent agenda covering items 6–28 (appointments, contracts and administrative authorizations) to expedite reorganization-year housekeeping.
Why it matters: the votes secure professional coverage and short-term budgets needed for municipal operations at the start of the year and commit limited sums for technical and legal services that support planning, infrastructure and public-safety functions.
