Resident asks Springfield committee to limit heavy equipment on summer holiday weekends

Barnett said she researched other townships and cited Millburn as having restrictions that prohibit heavy equipment on Sundays and legal holidays. Committee members and the administrator acknowledged the concern; the administrator said contractors are already restricted from working on Sundays but was not sure whether the code specifically covers holiday weekends. Committee members asked staff to check existing ordinances and follow up.
