The sheriff said the consoles would not be delivered until the new facility is ready and that Motorola offered the opportunity because of a temporary market window.
Commissioner Probst moved to approve an amendment to the FY26 budget increasing the budget by $184,591.25 (to be recorded in the 9‑month budget amendment) and to approve the purchase of the new dispatch consoles. The motion was seconded and carried unanimously.
