Board approves consent agenda, purchasing contract, appropriation transfer and career-center resolution

Additional appropriation: During an appropriation hearing, CFO Greg Elkins explained a request to transfer available debt-service funds back to the education fund to repay an older common school loan (loan B 0284) totaling $254,289.72. The board voted to accept the additional appropriation and authorize the transfer; the motion carried 5–0.
Career center resolution (Resolution 202609): The board approved a resolution authorizing the district to apply for a new school number for the Hancock County Career Center (HC3), where the district will serve as the local education agency for the new career center. Motion carried 5–0.
All votes recorded during the action items at this meeting were unanimous in favor. The board adjourned at 8:31 p.m.
