County Attorney Keith explained the petition is intended to correct a mapping oversight so that the district’s recorded boundary matches on‑the‑ground service. He cited Wyoming statute 41‑10‑2‑10 allowing boundary changes and told the board maps must be submitted to and approved by the county assessor and the Department of Revenue before the chair signs the final order. "So what this is doing here is just enlarging a district... you're adding Larry's Subdivision," Keith said.
Commissioners moved and seconded the motion to approve the enlargement with the condition that the required map approvals be obtained; the motion passed without objection.
