Weld County approves consent agenda items, appointments and sets liquor‑license hearing

At its March 16 meeting the Weld County Board of County Commissioners approved the consent agenda and general warrants and confirmed several personnel and procedural items.
The board approved minutes from March 2, 2026, and approved the consent agenda. Commissioners appointed Bryce Lang to the Board of Adjustment and appointed James Herman to the Island Grove Park Advisory Board with a term expiring Feb. 28, 2029. The board also approved establishing the neighborhood-to-be-served and assigned Commissioner James to perform the on‑site inspection for an application by Rockin's LLC d/b/a Rockin's Ranch; the public hearing for the liquor license application was set for April 15.
The chair read certificates of appreciation into the record for Bill Hall and Richard Cuoco for their service to the Island Grove Park Advisory Board; framed certificates will be sent to the honorees. Motions to approve these items were moved and seconded and the board voted to carry the motions.
