The board approved signing the IT contract contingent on the county attorney’s approval (motion by Turner, seconded by Kupka; unanimous vote).
Regarding employee benefits, the board approved Plan 4 short-term and long-term disability coverage for non-union employees effective April 1 and for the Sheriff and 911 unions effective July 1, 2026 (motion by Turner, seconded by Knebel; unanimous vote).
The board approved claims for payment in the amount of $105,449.37 (motion by Turner, seconded by Kupka; unanimous vote). New-business updates included notices that the 6th judicial district is losing its director to a promotion, that Region 6 had met, and that work continues on the sheriff’s recording system and a near-complete phone upgrade. Public comment was taken from Karen Murty, Richard Arp, Jacob Reineke and an online commenter identified as "C.C."; public comment time closed at 10:00 a.m. The meeting adjourned at 10:00 a.m.
