Harrison County approves riverboat education and debt reduction disbursements totaling more than $1.8 million

The commission voted 3-0 to approve and sign the riverboat education agreements.
The commissioners then approved debt reduction disbursements of $246,656.29 to Lanesville, $580,786.83 to North Harrison and $1,172,556.88 to South Harrison; that motion also carried 3-0. Later in the meeting County Administrator Chad Shireman presented riverboat additional appropriation requests for infrastructure ($9,338.44) and revenue sharing ($173,428.16); the commissioners voted to forward both requests to the county council.
