Board moves to renew Indiana Online partnership for next school year

"Last year, we partnered with Indiana online to offer a virtual opportunity for some of our students... we do intend to bring a handbook to the board again because we've identified some things," a staff presenter said. The presenter noted the district plans to renew the agreement for the 2627 school year and highlighted that the district used Indiana Online for students needing certain courses or schedule flexibility.
Board members discussed the partnership positively and a motion to accept the renewal agreement was moved and seconded; the transcript records board members saying "aye" during the voice vote. Administrators and a board member noted some communications and handbook language need refinement before the next year, and staff said they will bring sample policy language for the June handbook review.
