Staff presented the application submitted in the name of Bob Fredlund and said ADUs are conditional uses in SF‑6; staff concluded the project meets necessary findings and recommended approval subject to eight conditions included in the staff report. Heather Ferris described design, parking and compatibility requirements and noted the ADU would be attached to the main residence because the lot is under 2,100 square feet and the ADU size fits the code limits.
Applicant Megan Trumble spoke in favor and said she accepted the eight conditions of approval. Commissioners asked about construction hours and access to the ADU; staff said construction hours are typically set by tentative maps but could be added as a condition if the commission desired. Commissioner Crone noted that because the lot size is small the ADU must be attached and confirmed the ADU could have been larger on a larger lot. A motion to approve the special‑use permit carried with the votes recorded on the record.
