Abner Ram Salcedo of Community Planning and Development presented a rezoning waiver for 1057 South Gaylord Street, a 5,555‑square‑foot, two‑story mixed‑use property in Washington Park in Council District 6. The proposal would keep the UMS2 base zone and add a waiver to permit “lodging accommodation, all other uses,” which would allow non‑manager‑occupied lodging where only manager‑occupied bed‑and‑breakfasts are currently allowed. Salcedo said Planning Board voted 8–0 to recommend consideration and CPD recommended approval based on consistency with Comprehensive Plan 2040 and Blueprint Denver.
