At the start of the meeting the board moved to approve the agenda. A roll-call vote recorded seven 'yes' votes (Mister Giordano, Missus Landry, Missus Rigoloso, Missus Quentin, Mister Favor, Mister Persako and Mister Pavlak) and the motion carried.
Under emergent business staff read two added items: (1) a settlement agreement and release in an arbitration matter with the Wayne Custodial Maintenance Association (document numbers read into the record), and (2) a settlement agreement and release in a student matter identified by student and agency numbers. Staff said the board president and secretary are authorized to execute the documents and that the business administrator and superintendent are authorized to take further steps to implement the terms.
During general public comment a resident who identified himself as "Dave Josh, 64 Cedar Place" thanked the board and superintendent for his opportunity to finish his career in the district and for support for athletics programs. Board members responded with thanks and recognition.
The board closed with member comments and a motion to adjourn.
